Wind noise can turn a long trip into a tiring one. These aero-style crossbars are shaped to cut through the air smoothly, and the rubberized Vortex strips in the top channels help reduce drag and whistling. The result is a quieter, more relaxed drive whether you’re hauling gear across town or heading out for a weekend on the water.
The 49" long aluminum crossbars give you plenty of room to load up whatever the trip calls for—kayaks, cargo boxes, or bike racks. The top channels work with channel-mount accessories, while the bar shape fits clamp-on mounts too. You can mix and match your gear and keep it all secure without crowding your roof space.
When you’re hauling heavy equipment or multiple pieces of gear, strength matters. These aluminum bars support up to 165 lbs, giving you confidence when you load them up for travel or outdoor adventures. The sturdy build holds steady mile after mile so your setup stays right where you want it.
Leaving your gear unattended doesn’t have to be stressful. The crossbars include integrated plastic locks that deter theft of channel-mount accessories, and the legs have lockable cover plates to secure the rack itself. You can also upgrade to all-metal locks (RRVA-LEC4, sold separately) for even more peace of mind when your vehicle is parked overnight.
Not every vehicle comes ready for a rack system, but this one installs cleanly on a naked roof with its complete setup of 2 Vortex crossbars, four 2500 Series legs, and a custom fit kit. The secure mounting gives you a solid foundation for carrying everything from kayaks to camping gear without drilling or permanent modifications.

Still happy. Theres a whistle, but you can fix it with a bit of foam insulation in the bottom of the rail.

Still rock solid after a year. Very happy with the Rack. My daughter has used it from time to time over the past year when something wont fit in her car, and shes had no problems with it at all.
